【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項1】 吸収性で結晶性の単中心・多軸共重合体であって:
炭素および窒素より成る群から選ばれる中心原子;および
上記中心原子から生じて外方に延びる少なくとも3つの軸
を含み、各軸は:
上記中心原子に隣接し、かつその中心原子から生じている非晶質の軟質成分であり、カーボネート類およびラクトン類より本質的に成る群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の環状単量体に由来する繰返単位を含むそのような非晶質軟質成分;および
上記非晶質軟質成分から外方に延びる硬質の結晶化性成分であり、少なくとも1種のラクトンに由来する繰返単位を含むそのような硬質結晶化性成分
を含む、上記の多軸共重合体。
【請求項2】 非晶質成分がε−カプロラクトンに由来する繰返単位を含む、請求項1に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項3】 非晶質成分がトリメチレンカーボネートに由来する繰返単位を含む、請求項1に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項4】 非晶質成分がトリメチレンカーボネートに由来する繰返単位をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項5】 非晶質成分がグリコリドに由来する繰返単位をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項6】 非晶質成分がグリコリドに由来する繰返単位をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項7】 非晶質成分がグリコリドに由来する繰返単位をさらに含む、請求項4に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項8】 結晶化性成分がグリコリドに由来する繰返単位を含む、請求項1に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項9】 結晶化性成分がトリメチレンカーボネート、ε−カプロラクトン、l−ラクチド、ρ−ジオキサノンおよび1,5−ジオキセパン−2−オンより成る群から選ばれる第二の共単量体に由来する繰返単位をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の多軸共重合体。
【請求項10】 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の多軸共重合体を含む縫合材。
【請求項11】 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の多軸共重合体を含む、穴があいた血管を封止するための成形された装置。
【請求項12】 前記封止装置が、遠位ロック部(16)が設けられている細長部材(4)の遠位端に取り付けられている第一封止部材(2)、および第二封止部材(6)を含み、該第二封止部材(6)は、その封止部材(6)が上記細長部材(4)の上をそれに沿ってねじ込み可能となるように開口(14)を含み、この場合上記第一封止部材は血管の内側に配置され、そして上記第二封止部材は、該第二封止部材(6)が、穴があいた血管を封止するために、上記遠位ロック部(16)に沿ってロック可能となるようにその血管の外側に配置される、請求項11に記載の装置。
【請求項13】 細長部材(4)が前記開口より小さい太さの近接部をさらに含み;該細長部材(4)は縫合ワイヤであり、そして遠位ロック部(16)はそのロック部(16)に沿って一定の太さを有し、その太さは第二封止部材(6)の開口より大きく、従って該第二封止部材(6)が該細長部材(4)の上をそれに沿ってねじ込まれるとき、該第二封止部材は遠位ロック部(16)に沿って無段可変ロック性となる、請求項12に記載の装置。
【請求項14】 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の多軸共重合体を含むステント。
【請求項15】 前記共重合体がステントのための順応性カバーを構成している、請求項14に記載のステント。
【請求項16】 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の吸収性で結晶性の単中心・多軸共重合体を製造する方法であって、次の:
三官能性有機化合物および四官能性有機化合物より成る群から選ばれる有機化合物を含む単量体系開始剤を用意し;
多価金属を含む触媒を用意し;
カーボネート類およびラクトン類より本質的に成る群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の環状共単量体を、上記触媒の存在下で、上記単量体系開始剤と、非晶質の高分子系多軸開始剤が少なくとも1種の上記環状共単量体の開環重合によって形成されるように反応させ;そして
上記非晶質高分子系多軸開始剤を、グリコリド、ラクチド、ρ−ジオキサノンおよびそれらの組み合わせより成る群から選ばれるメンバーから成る少なくとも1種のラクトンと反応させる
工程を含む上記の方法。
【請求項17】 非晶質高分子系多軸開始剤を少なくとも1種のラクトンと反応させる工程が、トリメチレンカーボネート、ε−カプロラクトンおよび1,5−ジオキセパン−2−オンより成る群から選ばれる第二の共単量体との反応をさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
