本発明は、靴、ことにゴルフを行う間に使うようにしたスポーツ靴に関する。

ゴルフ靴は典型的には靴内底の若干又は全部に取付けた靴表甲と靴外底とから
成る。靴内底は典型的には、ゴルファーの足に接触する上部層を持つ多重層フッ
トベッド(foot bed)と圧縮性材料から成る緩衝層とを備える。この緩
衝層は、足により加えられる圧力点で圧縮され一般にゴルフのスイング及び歩行
中に生ずる衝撃の若干を吸収する。靴内底の厚さは、ゴルフ靴に対し少なくとも
最小の内容積を保持する要求により制限を受ける。従って緩衝層の厚さと緩衝層
により生ずる苦痛の軽減(relief)制限を受ける。

カートの使用は又クラブ・トーナメントのようなその他の競技中にも禁止される
。ゴルフ・コースの歩行により加わるストレスによりゴルファーのスイングに好
ましくない影響を及ぼす疲労を招くようになる。従来のゴルフ靴の緩衝層はこの

及びかかと領域を持つフットベッドを備えたゴルフ靴用緩衝システムが得られる
。このフットベッドはゴルファーの足に当たる上部層と下部層とを備える。この
下部層は、圧縮材料から成り少なくとも1つの受け入れ部材を備える。緩衝部材
の少なくとも一部分はこの受け入れ部材内に配置してある。この緩衝部材は、フ

56'は靴のかかと区域に配置されスイング及び歩行の間に衝撃を吸収し足のか
かとにさらに緩衝作用を加える。緩衝部材56、56'は、上下のたわみ性殻半
部分60、62を持つたわみ性殻58を備える。各殻半部分60、62は、各部
材56、56'の側部から外方に延びるフランジを形成する継ぎ目64に沿い互
いに接合する。上下の各殻半部分60、62は、空気の緩衝性によりゲルの衝撃

び指標部材(indexing member)78を持つ。指標部材78は内
部リング82と内部リング82から外部リム76に外方に延びる4条のスポーク
84とを持つのがよい。指標部材78は指標部材受け入れ部材(receive
r)86内に受入れフットベッド12の下面に緩衝部材56、56'を位置させ
るのに役立たせる。

はフットベッド12に対する緩衝部材56、56'の回動にさらに抵抗するよう
にだ円形の形状を持つ。
4の形状に相補的な形状を持つ内部みぞ88及び4条の外方に延びるみぞ90を
持つ。各スポーク84及び各みぞ90はフットベッド12に対する緩衝部材56
、56'の回動に抵抗する。図2に示すように内部リング82及び内部みぞ88
はフットベッド12に対する緩衝部材56、56'の回動にさらに抵抗するよう
にだ円形の形状を持つ。

図6に示した構造の緩衝部材56では上部殻半部分60の下面92は内部みぞ
88内で下部殻半部分62の上面94に接合され、内部緩衝パッド98を外部緩
衝リング100から隔離する内側壁96を形成する。1実施例では内部緩衝パッ
ド98内のゲル・空気混合物68は外部緩衝リング100内のゲル・空気混合物
68より低い密度を持つ。このようにして緩衝リング100より軟らかい緩衝パ
ッド98を生成しかかとを受ける緩衝部材56を形成する。
88内で下部殻半部分62の上面94に接合され、内部緩衝パッド98を外部緩
衝リング100から隔離する内側壁96を形成する。1実施例では内部緩衝パッ
ド98内のゲル・空気混合物68は外部緩衝リング100内のゲル・空気混合物
68より低い密度を持つ。このようにして緩衝リング100より軟らかい緩衝パ
ッド98を生成しかかとを受ける緩衝部材56を形成する。

Claims (20)
- 【請求項1】 靴底領域と、アーチ形領域と、かかと領域と、ゴルファーの
足に接触できる上部層と、圧縮性材料から成り、少なくとも1個所の受け入れ部
材を形成している下部層とを備えたフットベッドと、 このフットベッドの下側に配置したラスティング・ボードと、 前記フットベッドの下部層の材料より圧縮性の一層高い圧縮性材料から成り、
前記受け入れ部材内に少なくとも一部を配置した少なくとも1個の緩衝部材と、
を包含する、ゴルフ靴用の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項2】 前記下部層に、前記かかと領域のくぼみと、前記靴底領域の
少なくとも1個所の受け入れ部材と、前記アーチ形領域の受け入れ部材とを形成
し、前記ラスティング・ボードに前記フットベッドのかかと領域のくぼみに対向
して配置した受け入れ部材を形成するかかと領域を設け、緩衝部材を前記フット
ベッドの前記靴底領域及びアーチ形領域の各受け入れ部材内に配置し、緩衝部材
に、前記フットベッドのかかと領域のくぼみ内に配置した上部部分と、前記ラス
ティング・ボードのかかと領域の受け入れ部材内に配置した下部部分とを設けた
請求項1の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項3】 前記フットベッドの前記の靴底領域及びアーチ形領域の各緩
衝部材を、空洞を形成するカバーと、前記空洞内に入れた液体とにより構成した
請求項2の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項4】 前記液体を水、油及びゲルから成る群から選択した請求項3
の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項5】 前記カバーが扁平な風船の形状を備えた請求項3の緩衝シス
テム。 - 【請求項6】 前記フットベッドの下部層と、前記フットベッドの前記靴底
領域及びアーチ形領域の緩衝部材とをそれぞれEVAで構成し、このEVAは、
前記フットベッドのEVAが、前記各緩衝部材のEVAより硬い硬さを持つよう
にした請求項2の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項7】 前記フットベッドのかかと領域の緩衝部材が、空気・ゲル混
合物を満たした空洞を形成するたわみ性の外殻から成る請求項2の緩衝システム
。 - 【請求項8】 前記外殻に、フランジを形成する外方に延びる継ぎ目に沿っ
て互いに接合した上部及び下部の各殻半部分を設けた請求項7の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項9】 前記フットベッドのかかと領域のくぼみに指標部材を設け、
前記上部の殻半部分に相補的な指標部材受け入れ部材を設けた請求項8の緩衝シ
ステム。 - 【請求項10】 前記くぼみに下面を設け、前記指標部材に、前記くぼみの
下面から下方に延びる内部リングを設け、又前記指標部材受け入れ部材に前記内
部リングに相補的な形状を持つ内部みぞを設けた請求項9の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項11】 前記指標部材に、さらに前記くぼみの下面から下方に、か
つ前記内部リングから外方に延びる複数のスポークを設け、前記指標部材受け入
れ部材にさらに、それぞれスポークに相補的な形状を持つ複数の外方に延びるみ
ぞを設けた請求項10の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項12】 前記内部リング及び内部みぞが、それぞれだ円の形状を備
えた請求項10の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項13】 前記上部の殻半部分に下面を設け、前記下部の殻半部分に
上面を設け、前記上部の殻半部分の下面を、前記内部みぞ内で前記下部の殻半部
分の上面に接合し、内部緩衝パッド及び別個の外部緩衝リングを形成した請求項
10の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項14】 前記緩衝パッド及び緩衝リングにそれぞれ空気・ゲル混合
物を満たし、前記緩衝パッドの空気・ゲル混合物を、前記緩衝リングの空気・ゲ
ル混合物より軟らかくした請求項13の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項15】 前記緩衝パッド及び緩衝リングにそれぞれ、或る密度を持
つ空気・ゲル混合物を満たし、前記緩衝リングの空気・ゲル混合物の密度を、前
記緩衝パッドの空気・ゲル混合物の密度より大きくした請求項13の緩衝システ
ム。 - 【請求項16】 靴底領域と、アーチ形領域と、かかと領域と、ゴルファー
の足に接触できる上部層と、圧縮性材料から成り前記かかと領域にくぼみを形成
する下部層と、前記靴底領域の複数の受け入れ部材と、前記アーチ形領域の受け
入れ部材とを持つフットベッドと、 このフットベッドの前記かかと領域のくぼみに対向して配置した受け入れ部材
を形成するかかと領域を持つラスティング・ボードと、 前記フットベッドの前記の靴底領域及びアーチ形領域の各受け入れ部材内に1
個を配置した複数個の第1の緩衝部材と、 前記フットベッドの前記かかと領域のくぼみ内に配置した上部部分と前記ラス
ティング・ボードの前記かかと領域の受け入れ部材内に配置した下部部分とを持
つ第2の緩衝部材と、 を備えたゴルフ靴用の緩衝システムにおいて、 前記第1及び第2の緩衝部材をそれぞれ圧縮性材料により構成し、前記第1及
び第2の各緩衝部材の圧縮性材料を、前記フットベッドの下部層の圧縮性材料よ
り一層高い圧縮性を持つようにして成る、 ゴルフ靴用の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項17】 前記第1の各緩衝部材を、空洞を形成する扁平な風船形の
カバーと、前記空洞内に入れた液体とにより構成した請求項16の緩衝システム
。 - 【請求項18】 前記フットベッドの下部層と、前記第1の緩衝部材とを、
それぞれEVAで構成し、このEVAは、前記フットベッドのEVAを前記第1
の緩衝部材のEVAより硬い硬さを持つようにした請求項16の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項19】 前記第2の緩衝部材を、外方に延びる継ぎ目に沿い互いに
接合され、空気・ゲル混合物を満たした空洞を形成するたわみ性の上部及び下部
の各殻半部分により構成した請求項16の緩衝システム。 - 【請求項20】 前記フットベッドの前記かかと領域のくぼみに指標部材を
設け、前記上部の殻半部分に、相補的な指標部材受け入れ部材を設けた請求項1
9の緩衝システム。
