化,低コスト化、および高品質を実現する。 【解決手段】 発泡ウレタンからなる一定厚さの半硬質
層1の両面に樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マット2,3を重合す
るとともに、一方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マット2の表面
に接着フィルム4を介してファブリック等の表皮材5を
重合し、他方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マット3に接着フィ
ルム6を介して不織布等の裏材7を重合し、この多重合
体8をプレス型9,10によって挟着して加熱・加圧す
ることにより上記各層を融着させ所定の立体形状に付形
する。

【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、自動車のサンルー
フにスライド可能に設けられるサンシェードおよびその
製造方法に関するものである。

【従来の技術】自動車のサンルーフ(天窓)に設けられ
るサンシェード(日よけ板)は、従来から天井パネルの
開口の両側縁上部に設けられた横断面コ字状のガイドレ
ールにその両側縁を摺動可能に遊嵌することにより、前
後方向にスライド可能に支持されたものである。
【0003】ところで従来のサンシェードは、アルミニ
ウム等の金属板、またはそれに相当する剛性を備えた合
成樹脂製板,積層板等を基板とし、その室内側面にファ
ブリック等の表皮を貼付してなるものであったが、変形
し難いこと、高剛性であること等が必要であるので、軽
量化,低コスト化が困難であった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は上述に鑑みて
なされたもので、サンシェードの軽量化,低コスト化、
および高品質を実現しようとするものである。

自動車用サンルーフのサンシェードの製造方法は、発泡
ウレタンからなる一定厚さの半硬質層の両面に樹脂含浸
ガラス繊維マットを重合するとともに、一方の樹脂含浸
ガラス繊維マットの表面にファブリック等の表皮材を重
合し、他方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マットに不織布等の裏
材を重合し、この多重合体をプレス型によって挟着して
加熱・加圧することにより上記各層を融着させ所定の立
体形状に付形することを特徴とする。また本発明は上記
サンシェードの製造方法において、プレス型に横スライ
ドする割子型を設け、該割子型によりサンシェードの前
縁をなす表皮材を裏側に巻き込んで融着させるようにし
たことを特徴とする。また本発明は上記サンシェードの
製造方法において、プレス型によるサンシェードの両側
縁の圧縮率を高くするとともに、その一部に圧縮率を低
くすることで表皮材側および裏材側に膨突するサポート
部を形成することを特徴とする。また本発明に係る自動
車用サンルーフのサンシェードは、発泡ウレタンからな
る一定厚さの半硬質層の両面に樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マッ
トが融着され、一方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マットの表面
にファブリック等の表皮材が融着され、他方の樹脂含浸
ガラス繊維マットに不織布等の裏材が融着され、前縁は
高圧縮率に加圧するとともに表皮材を裏側に巻き込んで
融着し、両側縁は高圧縮率に加圧するとともにその一部
に圧縮率を低くすることで表皮材側および裏材側に膨突
しガイドレールの内面に摺接するサポート部を形成し、
後縁には上方に湾曲状に突出する係合部を形成してなる
ことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】次に本発明の実施の形態を図面に
従い説明する。図1は本発明のサンシェードを構成する
複数の重合資材を示す斜視図であり、1は密度=0.0
20〜0.045、厚さ=3〜10mmの発泡ウレタン
からなる半硬質層で、該半硬質層の両面にウレタン等の
熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させたガラス繊維マット2,3を夫
々重合し、一方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マット2の表面に
接着フィルム4を介してファブリック(布帛),ニード
ルパンチ不織布,プラスチックフオームラミネート編物
等からなる表皮材5を重合し、他方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊
維マット3には接着フィルム6を介してポリエステル不
織布,紙等の裏材7を重合する。そしてこの多重合体8
を図2に示したような熱圧プレス機のプレス型9,10
に表皮材5が上側となるようにセットして挟着し加熱・
加圧する。このプレス型は、主シリンダの作動によって
一方のプレス型10が矢印aで示したように上下動し開
閉するとともに、副シリンダ11の作動により矢印bで
示したように横スライドする割子型12が設けられたも
のである。
【0007】また、図3にこの加熱・加圧によって三次
元立体形状に付形され、その周囲をトリミングすること
によって成形されたサンシェード13を上面斜め前方よ
り見た外観斜視図を示し、図4はこのサンシェードの組
立状態、図5にその縦断面図を示す。このサンシェード
の前縁14は、プレス型9,10の加圧による圧縮率を
高くすることで硬くするとともに、型締時に前記割子型
12を進出させることにより表皮材5を裏側に巻き込ん
で融着させることにより縁処理がなされる。
【0008】また、このサンシェード12の両側縁15
は、プレス型の加圧による圧縮率を高くすることで硬く
するとともに、図6,図7に示したように、両側縁15
の前縁寄りに圧縮率を低くすることで表皮材側と裏材
側、および幅方向に夫々1〜3mm程度膨突するサポー
ト部16を形成し、該サポート部をガイドレール(図示
せず)の内面に摺接させるようにする。
【0009】また、このサンシェード13の後縁には上
方に湾曲状に突出させることで係合部17が形成され
る。該係合部はサンルーフ(図示せず)を後方に移動さ
せたときにその移動に伴い該サンシェードも後方に移動
するように該サンシェードをサンルーフに設けられた雨
樋(図示せず)に係合させるためのものである。
【0010】なお、18は前縁中心に室内側(下面側)
が凹となるように成形された取手取付用凹部で、該凹部
にプラスチック製の取手19がビス20により止着され
る。また、21は両側縁15の後縁寄りに取付板22に
よって挟着することで固定され、サポート部16ととも
にガイドレールの内面に摺接するスライドシューで、該
スライドシューは、図8,図9に示したように、一対の
摺接片23が板バネ24によって上向に付勢され、その
弾性により該摺接片がガイドレール内上面に弾性的に当
接される。また、該スライドシューの外側面には一対の
髭状の弾性片25が突設され、該弾性片がガイドレール
内側面に弾性的に当接する。
【0011】こうして製造されたサンシェード13は、
発泡ウレタンからなる半硬質層1の両面にガラス繊維マ
ット2,3が熱融着されることから、これが軽量で剛性
の高い強固な芯材となり得る。また、前縁14は圧縮率
を高くし硬くするとともに、表皮材5を巻き込むことで
縁処理がされるので、芯材が表面に露呈することなく美
観が保たれるとともに、開閉操作時に取手19以外の該
前縁部分が手に押圧されたとしても変形するおそれのな
い強度が得られる。
【0012】また、両側縁15についても圧縮率を高く
することで硬く薄くなることから、ガイドレールの内面
から該両側縁を浮かすことができるとともに、その一部
に低圧縮率で表皮材側と裏材側、および幅方向に膨突す
るサポート部16を形成し該サポート部がガイドレール
の内面に摺接するようにしたことで、開閉操作時に常に
適度な摺動抵抗が得られるようになる。
【0013】さらに、このサンシェードは、後縁に上方
に湾曲状に突出する係合部17が形成され、該係合部と
前記前縁14および両側縁15により全周を囲繞するよ
うになることから、少ない資材により薄く形成されても
全体強度および剛性が頗る高く、形状保持性が優れる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明によれば、金
属板等を基板とする従来のサンシェードに比べて大幅に
軽量化が可能であるとともに、少ない資材で形状保持性
が優れたサンシェードを製造でき製造コストを軽減でき
るなど種々の有益な効果がある。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 発泡ウレ夕ンからなる一定厚さの半硬質
    層の両面に樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マットを重合するととも
    に、一方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マットの表面にファブリ
    ック等の表皮材を重合し、他方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マ
    ットに不織布等の裏材を重合し、この多重合体をプレス
    型によって挟着して加熱・加圧することにより上記各層
    を融着させ所定の立体形状に付形することを特徴とした
    自動車用サンルーフのサンシェードの製造方法。
  2. 【請求項2】 プレス型に横スライドする割子型を設
    け、該割子型によりサンシェードの前縁をなす表皮材を
    裏側に巻き込んで融着させるようにしたことを特徴とす
    る請求項1に記載の自動車用サンルーフのサンシェード
    の製造方法。
  3. 【請求項3】 プレス型によるサンシェードの両側縁の
    圧縮率を高くするとともに、その一部に圧縮率を低くす
    ることで表皮材側および裏材側に膨突するサポート部を
    形成することを特徴とした請求項1または2に記載の自
    動車用サンルーフのサンシェードの製造方法。
  4. 【請求項4】 発泡ウレタンからなる一定厚さの半硬質
    層の両面に樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マットが融着され、一方
    の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マットの表面にファブリック等の
    表皮材が融着され、他方の樹脂含浸ガラス繊維マットに
    不織布等の裏材が融着され、前縁は高圧縮率に加圧する
    とともに表皮材を裏側に巻き込んで融着し、両側縁は高
    圧縮率に加圧するとともにその一部に圧縮率を低くする
    ことで表皮材側および裏材側に膨突しガイドレールの内
    面に摺接するサポート部を形成し、後縁には上方に湾曲
    状に突出する係合部を形成してなることを特徴とした自
    動車用サンルーフのサンシェード。
