Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. ポリマー発光ダイオードであって、 (a)透明なホール注入アノード層と、 (b)エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーを含む発光層と、 (c)電子注入カソード層と、 を含み、該カソード層は、約15〜約100Åの厚さを有するアルカリ土類金属の極 薄層を含む、ポリマー発光ダイオード。 2. 前記アルカリ土類金属の極薄膜が約30〜約60Åの厚さを有する、請求項1 に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 3. 前記アルカリ土類金属が、カルシウム、ストロンチウム、およびバリウム からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 4. 前記アルカリ土類金属が、カルシウム、ストロンチウム、およびバリウム からなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 5. 前記カソード層がキャッピング層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のポリマ ー発光ダイオード。 6. 前記カソード層がキャッピング層をさらに含む、請求項2に記載のポリマ ー発光ダイオード。 7. 前記カソード層がキャッピング層をさらに含む、請求項3に記載のポリマ ー発光ダイオード。 8. 前記カソード層がキャッピング層をさらに含む、請求項4に記載のポリマ ー発光ダイオード。 9. 前記キャッピング層がアルミニウム、銀、または銅を含む、請求項5に記 載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 10. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、共役ポリマーである、請求項 1に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 11. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、共役ポリマーである、請求項 2に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 12. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、共役ポリマーである、請求項 3に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 13. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、共役ポリマーである、請求項 4に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 14. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、ポリ(p-フェニレン ビニレン )、ポリ(アリーレン ビニレン)、ポリ(p-フェニレン)、ポリ(アリーレン)、およ びポリキノリンからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のポリマー発光ダイ オード。 15. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、ポリ(p-フェニレン ビニレン )、ポリ(アリーレン ビニレン)、ポリ(p-フェニレン)、ポリ(アリーレン)、およ びポリキノリンからなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載のポリマー発光ダイ オード。 16. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、ポリ(p-フェニレン ビニレン )、ポリ(アリーレン ビニレン)、ポリ(p-フェニレン)、ポリ(アリーレン)、およ びポリキノリンからなる群から選択される、請求項3に記載のポリマー発光ダ イオード。 17. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、ポリ(p-フェニレン ビニレン )、ポリ(アリーレン ビニレン)、ポリ(p-フェニレン)、ポリ(アリーレン)、およ びポリキノリンからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載のポリマー発光ダイ オード。 18. 前記エレクトロルミネセンスポリマーが、ポリ(2-(3,7-ジメチルオクチ ルオキシ)-5-メトキシ-1,4-フェニレン-1,4-フェニレンビニレン)である、請求 項1に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 19. 前記アノード層が、金属、金属酸化物、グラファイト、ドーピングされ た無機半導体、ドーピングされた共役ポリマーからなる群から選択される物質を 含む、請求項1に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 20. 前記アノード層が、アルミニウム、銀、プラチナ、金、パラジウム、タ ングステン、インジウム、銅、鉄、ニッケル、亜鉛、鉛、酸化スズ、インジウム /酸化スズ、グラファイト、ドーピングされたシリコン、ドーピングされたゲル マニウム、ドーピングされたガリウム砒素、ドーピングされたポリアニリン、ド ーピングされたポリピロール、およびドーピングされたポリチオフェンからなる 群から選択される物質を含む、請求項1に記載のポリマー発光ダイオード。 21. 前記ポリマー発光ダイオードがカプセル化されている、請求項1に記載 のポリマー発光ダイオード。
