Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.炭素数が約C8から約C20までの範囲であるパラフィン類の混合物からなる 溶剤組成物であって、イソパラフィン類:n−パラフィン類のモル比は、約0. 5:1から9:1までの範囲であり、かつ混合物中のイソパラフィン類は、混合 物のイソパラフィン類の全重量に対して50%以上のモノメチル類を含有するこ とを特徴とする高純度溶剤組成物。 2.パラフィン類の混合物は、炭素数が約C10から約C16までの範囲であること を特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の高純度溶剤組成物。 3.溶剤混合物は、70%以上のモノメチル類を含有することを特徴とする請求 の範囲1に記載の高純度溶剤組成物。 4.溶剤混合物は、約320°Fから約650°Fまでの範囲である沸点を有する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の高純度溶剤組成物。 5.溶剤混合物は、約350°Fから約550°Fまでの範囲である沸点を有する ことを特徴とする請求の範囲4に記載の高純度溶剤組成物。 6.溶剤は、炭素数が約C10から約C16までの範囲であるパラフィン類の混合物 からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲4に記載の高純度溶剤組成物。 7.溶剤混合物は、炭素数が約C10から約C16までの範囲であって、70%以上 のモノメチル類を含有し、かつ、約350°Fから約550°Fまでの範囲である 沸点を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の高純度溶剤組成物。 8.パラフィン類の混合物は、イソパラフィン類:n−パラフィン類のモル比が 約1:1から4:1までの範囲であることを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の高 純度溶剤組成物。 9.請求の範囲1乃至8のいずれかに記載の高純度溶剤組成物を製造するための 方法であって、該方法は、 C5+パラフィン供給原料を二重官能性触媒上で水素と接触させて、水添異性化 反応および水添分解反応を引き起こし、次いで全供給原料の重量に対する1回の 処理主成分について約20%から約90%の範囲の700°F+転化レベルをもた らし、C5の沸点と1050°Fとの範囲で沸騰する粗留分を生成する工程; 該粗留分を常圧蒸留して上限終点が約650°Fから約750°Fまでの範囲で ある低沸点留分を生成する工程;および 該低沸点留分から前記高純度溶剤組成物を回収する工程からなることを特徴と する方法。 10.回収される高純度溶剤組成物は、炭素数が約C10から約C16までの範囲で あるパラフィン類の混合物であることを特徴とする請求の範囲 9に記載の方法。
