Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.第1通信局から第2通信局へデジタルデータの通信を行う方法であって 、 前記第1通信局と前記第2通信局との間の距離を決定する工程と、 前記距離に応じて送信のための情報レートを選択する工程と、 前記デジタルデータを前記送信レートで送信する工程とを有するデジタルデ ータ通信方法。 2.前記情報レートを選択する工程は、前記デジタルデータのエンコードレ ートを選択する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載された方法。 3.前記情報レートを選択する工程は、前記デジタルデータの変調フォーマ ットを選択する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載された方法。 4.前記エンコードレートを選択する工程は、所定の渦巻き型のエンコード レートの所定のセットの一つを選択する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1 に記載された方法。 5.前記距離を決定する工程は、 第1通信局からの位置メッセージを前記第2通信局へ送信する通信工程と、 前記通信メッセージに応じて前記距離を決定する工程とを有することを特徴 とする請求項1に記載された方法。 6.前記距離を決定する工程は、 知られた出力にて関連信号を送信する工程と、 前記知られた出力に応じて距離の値と前記受信した出力とを計算する工程と を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載された方法。 7.前記デジタルデータを前記データレートで送信する工程は、決定された 最大送信エネルギーで行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された方法。 8.前記第1通信局が送信しているとき、少なくとも一つの隣り合った第1 通信局が送信することを阻止する工程を更に有することを特徴とする請求項1に 記載された方法。 9.第1通信局が第2通信局にデジタルデータを送信する通信システムにお いて、前記デジタルデータの情報レートは、前記第1通信局と前記第2通信局と の間の伝搬ロスに応じて決定され、前記デジタルデータの受信方法は、 前記情報レートを示している信号を、前記第2通信において受信する工程と 、 前記第2通信局にて受信フォーマットを前記データレートに応じて選択する 工程と、 前記選択された受信フォーマットに応じて前記デジタルデータを受信する工 程とを有することを特徴とするデジタルデータの受信方法。 10.前記受信フォーマットを選択する工程がデコーディングフォーマット を選択する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載された方法。 11.前記受信フォーマットを選択する工程が格子(trellis)デコーディ ングフォーマットを選択する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載さ れた方法。 12.前記受信フォーマットを選択する工程が復調フォーマットを選択する 工程を有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載された方法。 13.第1通信局から第2通信局へデジタルデータの通信を行う装置であっ て、 前記第1通信局と前記第2通信局との間の距離に応じて送信フォーマットを 選択し、前記選択された前記送信フォーマットを示す送信フォーマット信号を供 給する送信コントローラと、 前記デジタルデータと前記送信フォーマット信号とを受け、前記選択された 送信フォーマットに応じて前記デジタルデータを送信する送信システムとを有す る装置。 14.前記送信コントローラは、前記デジタルデータのエンコードレートを 選択する請求項13に記載された装置。 15.前記送信コントローラは、前記デジタルデータの変調フォーマットを 選択する請求項13に記載された装置。 16.前記エンコードレートを選択する工程は、所定の渦巻き型のエンコー ドレートの所定のセットの一つを選択する請求項14に記載された装置。 17.第1通信局からの位置メッセージを前記第2通信局へ送信する受信サ ブシステムを更に有し、 前記送信コントローラは、前記位置メッセージを受け、前記位置メッセージ に応じて前記第1通信局と前記第2通信局との間の距離を計算する請求項13に 記載された装置。 18.前記第2通信局から通信エネルギを報せる信号を受け取る受信サブシ ステムを更に有し、 前記通信コントローラは、前記受信信号のエネルギを測定し、前記受信信号 のエネルギに応じて、前記第1通信局と第2通信局との距離を測定する請求項1 3に記載された装置。 19.前記送信システムは、前記デジタルデータを決定された最大送信エネ ルギーで送信する請求項13に記載された装置。 20.前記第1通信局は、第1セルに仕える携帯電話基地局であり、前記送 信コントローラは、更に送信のための時間間隔を示す送信信号を受信し、更に前 記送信信号は、前記第1通信局が、前記第1セルに隣接したセルに仕える他の基 地局に送信しているとき、送信を妨げるべく与えられていることを特徴とする請 求項13に記載された装置。 21.第1通信局が第2通信局にデジタルデータを送信する通信システムに おいて、前記デジタルデータの情報レートは、前記第1通信局と前記第2通信局 との間の伝搬ロスに応じて決定され、前記デジタルデータの受信装置は、 前記情報レートを示している信号を、前記第2通信において受信する受信サ ブシステムと、 前記第2通信局にて受信フォーマットを前記データレートに応じて選択する 制御プロセッサとを有しており、 前記受信サブシステムは、更に前記選択された受信フォーマットに応じて前 記デジタルデータを受信することを有することを特徴とする受信装置。 22.前記制御プロセッサは、デコーディングフォーマットを選択する請求 項21に記載された装置。 23.前記制御プロセッサは、格子(trellis)デコーディングフォーマッ トを選択する請求項22に記載された装置。 24.前記制御プロセッサは、復調フォーマットを選択する請求項21に記 載された装置。
