Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも構造化された板金層(2)に圧延油(4)層が板金層(2)の製 造工程で既に存在していなければ着けられるようにして少なくとも部分的に構造 化された板金層(2、3)が巻回、積層あるいは絡み合わされて構成され、一方 の端面(8a)から他方の端面(8b)まで延びる通路(9)を備えた金属ハニ カム体(1)を製造する方法において、板金層(2、3)から構成されたハニカ ム体(1)を圧延油(4)に付着しているろう粉末(7)と接触させ、次いでハ ニカム体(1)をろう付け処理することを特徴とする金属ハニカム体の製造方法 。 2.ハニカム体(1)をろう粉末と接触させる前に好適には100〜200℃の 温度に一時的に加熱し、露出面上の圧延油(4)の挿発成分を除去することを特 徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 3.ろう粉末(7)がハニカム体(1)の少なくとも一方の端面(8a、8b) に着けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の方法。 4.ろう粉末(7)がハニカム体(1)の全長にわたって着けられることを特徴 とする請求項3記載の方法。 5.ろう付け工程中にハニカム体(1)を横側の開放端面で倒すようにすること を特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 6.板金層(2、3)が少なくとも60μm、特に少なくとも80μm、好適に は少なくとも110μmの厚さを有していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5 のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 7.少なくとも部分的に構造化された板金層(2、3)が最大直径90mm、好 適には最大直径70mmのハニカム体(1)の形に巻回、積層あるいは絡み合わ されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 8.ろう粉末(7)が少なくとも40μmの粒径および60μm以上、特に63 μmの平均粒径を有していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つ に記載の方法。 9.ろう付け工程が真空中で行われることを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいず れか1つに記載の方法。 10.ろう付け工程が保護ガス、特にアルゴンあるいは窒素のもとで行われるこ とを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
