Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.2本のロール間または1本のロールを用いて薄い金属ストリップを連続鋳造 するためのロールの鋳造表面を、鋳造表面の少なくとも一部を少なくとも1つの アノードと対面させた状態で堆積させる金属の塩を含む電解溶液中に浸漬し且つ カソードとし、鋳造表面と電解溶液とを相対移動させてロールの鋳造表面に金属 層を電解被覆する方法において、 アノードと鋳造別の縁部分との間に絶縁マスクを配置し、絶縁マスクによって 縁部分およびその近傍に電流線が集中するのを防ぐことを特徴とする方法。 2.金属層の厚さの増加と共にマスクを次第にへり部分から遠ざける請求項1に 記載の方法。 3.堆積させるべき金属の塩を含む電解液(2)を入れたタンク(1)と、鋳造表面(3) を少なくとも部分的にタンク(1)内に浸漬させ、鋳造表面(3)と電解液(2)との間を 相対移動させる手段と、鋳造表面(3)と対面してタンク(1)内に配置された少なく とも1つのアノード(4,4')と、鋳造表面をカソード電位まで上昇させる手段とを 有する、2本のロール間又は1本のロールを用いて薄い金属ストリップを連続鋳造 するためのロールの鋳造表面(3)を金属層で電気的に被覆するためのプラントに おいて、 鋳造表面(3)のへり部分(12)とアノード(4,4')との間に絶縁材料より成るマス ク(7,7')を配置し、このマスク(7,7')でへり部分(12)に電流線が集中するのを防 ぐことを特徴とするプラント。 4.マスク(7,7')がほぼ円弧状を有し、その湾曲中心は対面する鋳造表面(3)のへ り部分(12)の湾曲中心と同じであり、へり部分(12)の延長上のへり部分から距離" d"の所に互いに直角な側面(10,10')を有するコーナー形状のカットアウト(9,9') によって連結された2つの端縁(13,13')を有する請求項3に記載のプラント。 5.マスク(7,7')が細長い物体からなる請求項4に記載のプラント。 6.マスク(7,7')がプレート又はプレートの集合体からなる請求項4に記載のプ ラント。 7.金属層が厚くなった時にマスク(7,7')をへり部分(12)から次第に遠ざけるた めの手段(8)を含む請求項3・6のいずれか一項に記載のプラント。 8.鋳造表面(3)の末端に対面するように配置されたアノード(21,21')を有する 請求項3・7のいずれか一項に記載のプラント。 9.電流ロバーを含む請求項1・8のいずれか一項に記載のプラント。 10.電流ロバーがマスク(7,7')に組み込まれている請求項9に記載のプラント。 11.鋳造表面(3)と電解液(2)とを相対移動させる手段が鋳造表面(3)を回転させ る手段である請求項3・10のいずれか一項に記載のプラント。 12.鋳造表面(3)と電解液(2)とを相対移動させる手段が鋳造表面(3)の周囲で電 解液(2)を循環させる手段である請求項3・10のいずれか一項に記載のプラント。
