Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 横断方向の寸法を有する柔軟な気泡体からなる断熱組立品中の基体間に間 隔ないし空間を空けるためのスペーサーであって、前記の気泡体は、前面とこれ との間に間隔を空けた位置の後面、第1の基体係合表面及び前記の第1基体係合 表面との間に間隔を空けた位置にある第2の基体係合表面を有しているものであ る前記スペーサーにおいて、前記の後面は、それぞれの面の各角から材料の一部 が取り除かれており、前記気泡体が折り曲げられた際に前記気泡体の前記横断方 向の寸法が増大するのを実質的に低減するようになっていることを特徴とする断 熱組立品中の基体間に間隔ないし空間を設けるためのスペーサー。 2. 前記後面と前記の第1と第2の基体係合面を実質的に覆っている第1のシ ール材を有することを特徴とする請求項1のスペーサー。 3. 前記の各取り除かれた部分が前記の基体係合面に対し約1°から約60°角 度をなすことを特徴とする請求項1のスペーサー。 4. 前記部分の各々が一点に集まることを特徴とする請求項3のスペーサー。 5.前記二つの部分が1つの断片的平面につながっており、当該平面が前記の前 面に平行していることを特徴とする請求項1のスペーサー。 6. 前面、これとの間に間隔を空けた位置にある後面、第1の基体係合面、前 記の第1基体係合面との間に間隔を空けた位置にある第2の基体係合面を有し、 横断方向の寸法を有する柔軟な気泡体と、 前記後面は、各々の前記基体係合面の近くで材料の一部分が取り除かれており 、前記基体係合面の各々に隣接した材料の前記取り除かれた部分が位置する区域 にあるシール材と、 を有する基体間に間隔ないし空間を空けるための複合気泡スペーサーにおいて 、 前記気泡体が折り曲げられた際に前記横断方向の寸法の増大を実質的に減少せ しめるようになっていること、 前記の二つの基体係合面が第1のシール面を提供するために第1のシール材を 含むことを特徴とする複合気泡スペーサー。 7. 前記の後面は蒸気障壁手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項6の複合気泡ス ペーサー。 8. 前記の複合スペーサーが、さらに乾燥マトリックスを含むことを特徴とす る請求項7の複合気泡スペーサー。 9. 前記スペーサーが、第2のシール材を含むことを特徴とする請求項8の複合 気泡スペーサー。 10.前記の蒸気障壁手段が、前記第2のシール材に少なくとも部分的に埋め込 まれていることを特徴とする請求項8の複合気泡スペーサー。 11.前記第1シール材が、ホットメルトを含むことを特徴とする請求項6の複 合気泡スペーサー。 12.前記第2シール材が、ポリイソブチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項11 の複合気泡スペーサー。 13.前記気泡体が、EPDMを含むことを特徴とする請求項6の複合気泡スペーサ ー。 14.前記の気泡体が、フォーム材を含むことを特徴とする請求項6の複合気泡 スペーサー。 15.前記のスペーサーが、前記の第1と第2の基体係合面を実質的に覆ってお り、前記の後面において前記の前表面と後表面の間に伸びているシール材からな る外殻を含んでおり、前記外殻が前記の気泡体の構造に実質的に合致する構造を 持っており、さらに前記スペーサーに伴う乾燥材が前記気泡体の内側へ伸びてい ることを特徴とする請求項1のスペーサー。 16.前記の乾燥マトリックスが、各々の基体接触面から取り除かれた材料の少 なくとも一部分を有していることを特徴とする請求項9の複合気泡スペーサー。 17.2枚1組の基体と、 前面、後面、ならびに一対の基体係合面を有する複合気泡体と、 各基体を前記気泡体のそれぞれの基体係合面に対してシールするための、各基 体係合面を伴なうシール手段と、 を備えてなる断熱組立品において、 前記の基体係合い表面において前記後面の近くで材料の一部が取り除かれてい て、前記の気泡体が該断熱組立品の角の回りで曲げられる際に、前記の複合気泡 体の横断方向寸法が増大するのを実質的に低減せしめるようになっており、 各基体はそれぞれの基体係合面と係合しており、 前記のスペーサーは、それに伴なう乾燥材を有している ことを特徴とする断熱組立品。 18.前記のシール材手段が、少なくとも2つの、独立したシール面を画定する ように位置している少なくとも2つの異なったシール材を含むことを特徴とする 請求項17の断熱組立品。 19.少なくとも2つのシール材がホットメルトとポリイソブチレンを含むこと を特徴とする請求項18の断熱組立品。 20.前記のポリイソブチレンが、少なくとも部分的に前記のホットメルトに埋 め込まれていることを特徴とする請求項19の断熱組立品。 21.前記の基体が、その間に間隔ないし空間が空けられた一対のグラス・ライ ト(glass lites)であること、さらに該スペーサーは前記の第1及び第2の基体 係合面の大部分を実質的に覆っており、かつ前記の後面で前表面と後表面の間で 伸びているシール材からなる外殻を含んでいること、そしてこの外殻は前記の気 泡体の構造と実質的に一致する構造を持っており、前記のスペーサーに伴なう乾 燥材が、前記気泡体の内側へ伸びていることを特徴とする請求項17の断熱組立品 。 22.前記のシール材が前記の気泡体の少なくとも3面に直接に接着接触してい ることを特徴とする請求項17の断熱組立品。 23.前面、これとの間に間隔を空けた位置にある後面、第1の基体係合面、前 記の第1基体係合面との間に間隔を空けた位置にある第2の基体係合面を含み、横 断方向の寸法を有する柔軟な気泡体を備え、但し該基体係合面は第1シール面を 提供する第1シール材を有するものであり、 第2のシール面を提供する前記の各基体係合面に伴なう前記第1シール材と異 なった第2の硬化性シール材と、 前記の後面、前記第1シール材及び前記第2シール材と接触している蒸気障壁 手段と、 前記蒸気障壁手段と接触している前記第1シール材及び前記第2シール材と異 なった第3シール材と、 前記の第3シール材及び前記の蒸気障壁手段と接着接触している乾燥マトリッ クスを備えてなる複合気泡スペーサーにおいて、 前記各々の基体係合表面の近くで、材料の一部が取り除かれ、前記の気泡体が 曲げられた際に、前記の横断方向の寸法が増大するのを実質的に減らすようにな っていることを特徴とした複合気泡スペーサー。 24.ガラス基体が、それぞれの基体係合面と係合して、断熱ガラス構造体を構 成していることを特徴としている請求項23のスペーサー。 25.前記構造体が、前記の硬化性シール材を硬化させるのに十分なエネルギー にさらされた時、前記のシール材を溶かし、前記の基体及び前記の蒸気障壁手段 に融合させることを特徴とする請求項24のスペーサー。
