Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)配列番号263から552までからなる群より選択されるアミノ酸 配列を含むポリペプチドコードしているポリヌクレオチドに対して少なくとも7 0%の同一性を有するポリヌクレオチド; (b)(a)のポリヌクレオチドに相捕的なポリヌクレオチド; (c)寄託クローンのDNAに含まれる配列番号:1から262までからなる 群より選択されるポリヌクレオチド配列を含む遺伝子により発現されるのと同じ 成熟ポリペプチドをコードしているポリヌクレオチドに対して少なくとも70% の同一性を有するポリヌクレオチド;および (d)ポリヌクレオチド(a)、(b)または(c)の少なくとも15個の連 続した塩基を含むポリヌクレオチド からなる群より選択されるポリヌクレオチド配列を含む単離ポリヌクレオチド。 2.ポリヌクレオチドがDNAである請求項1のポリヌクレオチド。 3.ポリヌクレオチドがRNAである請求項1のポリヌクレオチド。 4.配列番号1から262に示す核酸配列を含む請求項2のポリヌクレオチド 。 5.配列番号1から262までからなる群より選択されるヌクレオチド配列を 含む請求項2のポリヌクレオチド。 6.配列番号:263から552までからなる群より選択されるアミノ酸配列 を含むポリペプチドをコードしている請求項2のポリヌクレオチド。 7.請求項1のポリヌクレオチドを含むベクター。 8.請求項7のベクターを含む宿主細胞。 9.請求項8の宿主細胞から上記DNAによりコードされているポリペプチド を発現させることを含む、ポリペプチドの製造方法。 10.新規ポリペプチドまたはフラグメントの製造方法であって、該ポリペプ チドまたはフラグメントの生成に十分な条件下で請求項8の宿主を培養すること を含む方法。 11.配列番号:263から552までからなる群より選択されるアミノ酸配 列に対して少なくとも70%同一であるアミノ酸配列を含むポリペプチド。 12.配列番号:263から552までからなる群より選択されるアミノ酸配 列を含むポリペプチド。 13.請求項11のポリペプチドに対する抗体。 14.請求項11のポリペプチドの活性または発現を阻害するアンタゴニスト 。 15.治療上有効量の請求項11のポリペプチドを個体に投与することを含む 、ストレプトコッカスのポリペプチドを必要とする個体の治療方法。 16.治療上有効量の請求項14のアンタゴニストを個体に投与することを含 む、細菌ポリペプチドの阻害を必要とする個体の治療方法。 17.個体における請求項11のポリペプチドの発現または活性に関連した疾 病の診断方法であって、 (a)該ポリペプチドをコードしている核酸配列を決定すること、および/ま たは (b)個体由来の試料中の該ポリペプチドの存在または量について分析するこ と を含む方法。 18.請求項11のポリペプチドと相互作用して、その活性を阻害または活性 化する化合物の同定方法であって、 化合物とポリペプチドとの間の相互作用を可能にする条件下で、ポリペプチド とスクリーニングすべき化合物とを接触させて化合物の相互作用を評価し(かか る相互作用はポリペプチドと化合物との相互作用に応答した検出可能シグナルを 提供しうる第2の成分に関連したものである)、 次いで、化合物とポリペプチドとの相互作用により生じるシグナルの存在また は不存在を検出することにより、化合物がポリペプチドと相互作用して、その活 性を活性化または阻害するかどうかを決定する ことを含む方法。 19.哺乳動物における免疫学的応答を誘導する方法であって、抗体および/ またはT細胞免疫応答を生じさせて動物を疾病から防御するに十分な請求項11 のストレプトコッカスのポリペプチドまたはそのフラグメントもしくは変種を哺 乳動物に接種することを含む方法。 20.哺乳動物における免疫学的応答を誘導する方法であって、請求項11の ストレプトコッカスのポリペプチドまたはそのフラグメントもしくは変種をイン ビボで発現させて、抗体および/またはT細胞免疫応答を生じさせる免疫学的応 答を誘導して該動物を疾病から防御するするために、請求項11のストレプトコ ッカスのポリペプチドまたはそのフラグメントもしくは変種の発現を指令する核 酸ベクターを送達することを含む方法。 22.請求項21のアミノ酸配列の1つをコードしている単離核酸および厳密 な条件下でそれにハイブリダイゼーションしうる核酸配列。 23.請求項22の核酸配列を含む組み換えベクターおよびそれを用いて形質 転換またはトランスフェクションされた宿主細胞。 24.候補化合物を請求項21のポリペプチドと接触させ、ついで、該ポリペ プチドの生物学的活性を阻害する能力のある化合物を選択することを含む、抗微 生物化合物の同定方法。 25.請求項24の方法により同定される抗微生物化合物。 26.(a)配列番号:389のアミノ酸配列を含むポリペプチドをコードす るポリヌクレオチドに対して少なくとも70%の同一性を有するポリヌクレオチ ド、; (b)(a)のポリヌクレオチドに対して相捕的なポリヌクレオチド; (c)寄託クローンのDNAに含まれる配列番号:389のポリヌクレオチド 配列を含む遺伝子により発現されるのと同じ成熟ポリペプチドをコードしている ポリヌクレオチドに対して少なくとも70%の同一性を有するポリヌクレオチド ;および (d)(a)、(b)または(c)のポリヌクレオチドの少なくとも15個の 連続した塩基を含むポリヌクレオチド からなる群より選択されるポリヌクレオチド配列を含む単離ポリヌクレオチド。 27.請求項26のポリヌクレオチドによりコードされるポリペプチド。
