Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.短い走行経路の光チップに光ファイバを結合するような光放射あるいは光検 出構成要素に導波管を結合する方法において、前記導波管と前記構成要素との間 に反射面を配設すること、該導波管を斜めに切ってD−ファイバを提供し、該導 波管を前記構成要素に結合する際該構成要素の活性面の比較的近くに該導波管の コアを位置させることを特徴とする方法。 2.請求項1に記載の方法において、前記導波管を斜めに切ってD−ファイバを 提供することは該導波管をV溝の適所に固定させるようなカバー手段により該斜 めに切られた該V溝に接して保持されるのを可能にすることを特徴とする方法。 3.光ファイバを光チップに結合するような導波管を光放射あるいは光検出構成 要素に結合するための装置において、前記導波管(9)の前方で前記構成要素( 11)の下に45度の傾斜で反射面(12)が配設され、またD−ファイバを提 供するように前記導波管(9)が斜めに切られ、該導波管のコア(16)が該導 波管を前記構成要素に結合する際該構成要素の活性面(10)に比較的近接して 位置していることを特徴とする装置。 4.請求項3に記載の装置において、前記斜めに切られた導波管(9)をカバー 手段(20)とキャリア基体(13)のV溝(19)との間に固定するよう機能 する該カバー手段(20)を特徴とする装置。 5.請求項3に記載の装置において、前記V溝(19)と前記反射面(12)と の間に配設された溝底部(15)を有する溝を特徴とする装置。 6.請求項5に記載の装置において、前記反射面(12)は前記導波管コア(1 6)の下の壁面(14)によって中断されていることを特徴とする装置。 7.請求項6に記載の装置において、前記反射面(12)の下で隣接した前記壁 面(14)は前記溝の一部分、また前記導波管(9)を装架する際導波管当接手 段を形成していることを特徴とする装置。
