PRODOTTO PER LA PULIZIA, LA SANIFICAZIONE E L?IGIENIZZAZIONE
DESCRIZIONE DELL?INVENZIONE
La presente invenzione si inquadra nel settore tecnico relativo alla pulizia, alla sanificazione ed all?igienizzazione, in particolare di ambienti e superfici.
Allo stato attuale ha assunto un?importanza sempre crescente la possibilit? di controllare e abbattere la contaminazione chimica e/o microbica che possa comportare un rischio per la salute degli individui.
Sono attualmente noti prodotti per la pulizia e la sanificazione delle superfici oggi utilizzati dalla Richiedente nell?impiego del sistema conosciuto con il nome commerciale ?Probiotic Cleaning Hygien System? (PCHS), nei quali in una miscela ad azione detergente, sanificante ed igienizzante sono introdotte spore di batteri probiotici, in particolare del genere Bacillus.
Tali prodotti sfruttano un approccio di ?biocontrollo? basato sul fatto che i microrganismi probiotici (non patogeni) possono colonizzare le superfici da pulire ed igienizzare, competendo con la proliferazione di altre specie potenzialmente rischiose per la salute degli individui.
I batteri del genere Bacillus rappresentano un vasto gruppo di batteri Grampositivi sporigeni, ubiquitari in natura e presenti anche nell?intestino umano. Le spore formate dai batteri Bacillus possono restare vitali per lunghissimi periodi, grazie alla loro resistenza all?essiccamento, al calore e a molte sostanze chimiche, e risultano pertanto ideali per le applicazioni probiotiche.
Da evidenziare, inoltre, che dal punto di vista della sicurezza le specie di Bacillus presenti nei prodotti utilizzati nell?applicazione del PCHS, sono considerate a rischio patogeno basso/nullo (apatogene).
Nel settore ospedaliero si ? notato che le infezioni costituiscono una delle complicanze pi? frequenti del ricovero ospedaliero (5% -15% di tutti i pazienti ospedalizzati) in quanto le superfici di confinamento e di arredo agiscono come ricettacoli per i microrganismi, aumentando il rischio di contaminazione attraverso il contatto diretto e/o indiretto con il paziente.
I prodotti per la pulizia e la sanificazione del tipo utilizzati nell?applicazione del sistema PCHS, si sono dimostrati in grado di abbattere stabilmente il numero e la quantit? delle specie microbiche potenzialmente patogene sulle superfici delle strutture ospedaliere.
Trattandosi di un meccanismo biologico di competizione sono necessari trattamenti prolungati, ad esempio almeno 30 giorni di applicazione, per raggiungere i risultati desiderati, in termini di abbattimento stabile della carica microbica.
Allo stato attuale, sia per evitare l?utilizzo di sostanze antimicrobiche chimiche disinfettanti ad alto impatto ambientale, sia a causa della comparsa di specie microbiche multi resistenti (cosiddetti ?superbugs?), i prodotti e metodi per la pulizia e la sanificazione attualmente utilizzati non risultano pi? soddisfacenti. Ci? fondamentalmente dovuto alla recente comparsa di numerose specie batteriche multi resistenti agli antibiotici.
Scopo della presente invenzione ? quello di ovviare alle suddette problematiche proponendo un prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione in grado di agire in modo particolarmente rapido ed efficace nei confronti di qualsiasi specie microbica, anche del tipo multi resistente. Un ulteriore scopo dell'invenzione ? quello di proporre un prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione, avente un impatto ambientale estremamente limitato.
Un ulteriore scopo dell'invenzione ? quello di proporre un prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione per il trattamento di superfici e/o di ambienti.
Gli scopi sopra indicati vengono ottenuti mediante un prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione comprendente : una soluzione di base ad azione sanificante e/o igienizzante; batteri probiotici miscelati a tale soluzione di base; elementi batteriofagi miscelati a tale soluzione di base ed aventi attivit? battericida su prestabilite specie batteriche indesiderate.
Secondo particolari forme di realizzazione il prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione oggetto dell?invenzione, comprende una o pi? delle caratteristiche seguenti, considerate singolarmente o in combinazione :
i batteri probiotici sono del genere Bacillus;
i batteri probiotici sono del genere Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium e Bacillus pumilus
gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Caudovirales;
gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Microviridae;
gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Leviviridae;
gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Inoviridae; gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Tectiviridae;
gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Corticoviridae;
il prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione ? utilizzato per il trattamento di superfici e/o di ambienti.
Le caratteristiche dell?invenzione saranno evidenziate nel seguito in cui vengono descritte a titolo esemplificativo alcune preferite, ma non esclusive, forme di realizzazione.
Il proposto prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione comprende, secondo modalit? note indicate nel preambolo introduttivo, una soluzione di base ad azione sanificante e/o igienizzante alla quale sono miscelati batteri probiotici, ad esempio in forma di spore.
Secondo modalit? innovative, tale prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione comprende inoltre elementi batteriofagi miscelati a tale soluzione di base ed aventi attivit? battericida su prestabilite specie batteriche indesiderate.
Per quanto concerne i batteri probiotici, a titolo esemplificativo e non limitativo, essi possono essere del genere Bacillus, pi? in particolare Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium e Bacillus pumilus.
Ci? non esclude che possano essere utilizzati ulteriori batteri probiotici in funzione delle indesiderate specie batteriche da contrastare.
Vantaggiosamente gli elementi batteriofagi possono essere scelti, in alternativa o in combinazione, a seconda delle specie batteriche da contrastare, tra le seguenti famiglie :
Caudovirales;
Microviridae;
Leviviridae;
Inoviridae;
Tectiviridae;
Corticoviridae.
Come noto gli elementi batteriofagi della famiglia Caudovirales comprendono anche le famiglie Myoviridae, Siphoviridae, Podoviridae.
Il proposto prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione, nelle preferite forme di realizzazione sopra indicate, ? particolarmente indicato per il trattamento di superfici e/o di ambienti, compreso il trattamento delle superfici interne di tubazioni per la circolazione di fluidi alimentari (ad esempio acqua). L?azione dei batteriofagi ? specifica, in quanto specifici tipi di batteriofagi litici uccidono specifici tipi di batteri, svolgendo quindi un?azione potenzialmente molto efficace e mirata nella lotta diretta contro i batteri indesiderati.
Va inoltre evidenziato come l?utilizzo di specifici batteriofagi eviti il rischio di danneggiamento dei Bacillus probiotici, che possono quindi mantenere intatta ed efficace la loro attivit?.
L?impiego di batteriofagi nei prodotti per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione ? particolarmente indicato in quanto essi sono piuttosto stabili in condizioni diverse di temperatura, pH e salinit? dell?ambiente.
La contemporanea presenza di Bacillus probiotici e batteriofagi anti-patogeni incrementa notevolmente l?efficacia del prodotto di pulizia, sanificazione ed igienizzazione, grazie alla loro azione sinergica svolta contro i microrganismi dannosi.
La realizzazione di un prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione che contiene contemporaneamente Bacillus probiotici e batteriofagi anti-patogeni ha l?evidente vantaggio, rispetto ai prodotti tradizionali, di assicurare un abbattimento della carica batterica contaminante estremamente rapido ed immediato.
Ci? grazie all?azione combinata e sinergica svolta dagli elementi batteriofagi che sono in grado di uccidere in poche ore i batteri bersaglio, e dai batteri probiotici che sono in grado di colonizzare persistentemente gli oggetti trattati, sostituendosi rapidamente ai patogeni.
La presenza degli batteriofagi rappresenta quindi un potenziamento dell?azione antibatterica del prodotto tradizionale a base di Bacillus probiotici rispetto ai batteri patogeni, facilitando e incrementando l?azione dei probiotici, che risultano attivi anche sui miceti.
Ci? garantisce un effetto immediato nella fase iniziale di trattamento di pulizia, sanificazione ed igienizzazione, consentendo ai batteri probiotici di determinare una presenza bassa, stabile e duratura nel tempo, di batteri potenzialmente patogeni, negli ambienti e sugli oggetti trattati, in tempi pi? rapidi rispetto ai prodotti tradizionali.
L?aggiunta di specifici elementi batteriofagi alla soluzione di base miscelata con spore di Bacillus probiotici consente vantaggiosamente di utilizzare il prodotto in modo mirato, rispondendo a specifiche necessit? e/o situazioni di particolare interesse, come ad esempio l?abbattimento di una o pi? specifiche specie batteriche particolarmente prevalenti e/o dannose.
La presenza di specifici elementi batteriofagi rappresenta un?ulteriore sicurezza per quanto riguarda l?uso dei batteri Bacillus probiotici in quanto, soprattutto nelle fasi iniziali di attacco, vengono distrutti i microrganismi potenzialmente in grado di cedere mediante scambio genico caratteri non desiderabili ai Bacillus.
La presenza nel prodotto oggetto dell?invenzione di un maggior numero di famiglie di elementi batteriofagi (Caudovirales, Microviridae, Leviviridae, Inoviridae, Tectiviridae e Corticoviridae) permette al prodotto stesso un?attivit? battericida su un pi? ampio gruppo di specie batteriche trattabili.
Le prestabilite famiglie di elementi batteriofagi potranno essere presenti nel prodotto oggetto dell?invenzione sia singolarmente che in combinazione, in modo da includere la possibilit? di trattamenti diversificati a seconda della specifica necessit?.
Da quanto sopra esposto appare evidente come il proposto prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione, sia in grado di agire in modo particolarmente rapido ed efficace, rispetto ai prodotti tradizionali indicati nel preambolo introduttivo, nei confronti di qualsiasi specie microbica, anche del tipo multi resistente ( ?superbugs?).
Il proposto prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione, comprendendo una soluzione di base ad azione sanificante e/o igienizzante alla quale sono miscelati batteri probiotici ed elementi batteriofagi, presenta indubbiamente impatto ambientale estremamente ridotto.
Tale prodotto si presta particolarmente per il trattamento di superfici e/o di ambienti, compreso il trattamento delle superfici interne di tubazioni per la circolazione di fluidi alimentari (ad esempio acqua).
Claims (10)
- RIVENDICAZIONI 1) Prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione, comprendente: una soluzione di base ad azione detergente, sanificante e igienizzante; batteri probiotici miscelati a tale soluzione di base; caratterizzato dal fatto di comprendere inoltre elementi batteriofagi miscelati a tale soluzione di base ed aventi attivit? battericida su prestabilite specie batteriche indesiderate.
- 2) Prodotto secondo la rivendicazione 1, caratterizzato dal fatto che i batteri probiotici sono del genere Bacillus.
- 3) Prodotto secondo la rivendicazione 2, caratterizzato dal fatto che i batteri probiotici sono del genere Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium e Bacillus pumilus.
- 4) Prodotto una delle rivendicazioni da 1 a 3, caratterizzato dal fatto che gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Caudovirales.
- 5) Prodotto secondo una delle rivendicazioni da 1 a 4, caratterizzato dal fatto che gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Microviridae.
- 6) Prodotto secondo una delle rivendicazioni da 1 a 5, caratterizzato dal fatto che gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Leviviridae.
- 7) Prodotto secondo una delle rivendicazioni da 1 a 6, caratterizzato dal fatto che gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Inoviridae.
- 8) Prodotto secondo una delle rivendicazioni da 1 a 7, caratterizzato dal fatto che gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Tectiviridae.
- 9) Prodotto secondo una delle rivendicazioni da 1 a 8, caratterizzato dal fatto che gli elementi batteriofagi comprendono batteriofagi della famiglia Corticoviridae.
- 10) Utilizzo di un prodotto per la pulizia, la sanificazione e l?igienizzazione, secondo una qualsiasi delle rivendicazioni da 1 a 9 per il trattamento di superfici e/o di ambienti.
