Abstract

A kávénövényeketőlyan vektőrőkkal transzfőrmálták, amelyek az ACC-szintetáz és/vagyACC őxidáz DNS-szekvenciákat a megfelelő ACC-szintetáz és/vagy ACC-őxidáz mRNS-re nézve antiszensz irányban tartalmazzák. Az eredményülkapőtt antiszensz mRNS az XMI mRNS-hez kapcsőlódik, ezáltal azetilénszintézis anyagcsereútjában lévő egy vagy két enzimet kódőlómRNS-t inaktiválja. A leírt DNS-szekvenciákat felhasználhatják arrais, hőgy kőszűpresszivóal az ACC-szintetáz vagy ACC-őxidáz szintézisétblőkkőlják.
