Abstract

964,251. Coils for dynamo-electric machines. LICENTIA PATENT - VERWALTUNGS - G.m.b.H. Jan. 9, 1961, No. 881/61. Heading H2A. The electrical stress between insulated slot conductors is equalized and voids are prevented by the provision of a resilient electrically conducting member arranged between them and the use of electrically conducting slot liners. As shown, conductors 1, 2 are separately insulated and spaced apart by a cushioning member comprising a core 4, which may not be resilient, faced by resilient electrically conducting layers 3, 5, e.g. of graphite filled silicon rubber. Various modifications all of which provide a resilient member having, at least, electrically conducting faces, are contemplated. The slot liners 8, 9 are made of graphite paper.
