Abstract
1,090,086. Securing cores of dynamo-electric machines. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. March 1, 1966, No. 8968/66. Heading H2A. A stack of rotor laminations 2 is secured to shaft 1 passing through a central bore (3) and making axial line contact with the stack in at least three places, the assembly being cemented by a resinous insulating layer 6 covering the ends and the slots of the stack and applied by the whirl-sinter process. As shown, the shaft is round and the stack bore is triangular or polygonal, but the bore may be round and shaft polygonal or longitudinally fluted.
