Abstract
The parent invention is modified in that carbon, boron, sulphur or silicon is used as a reactant included in the inactive base metal, e.g. Fe, Ni, Co, Cu, Cr, Mo or W, for reaction with the active metal, e.g. Hf, Ta, Ti, Zr, Nb, V, U, Sr, Ba, Ca, Mg, Ce or La, preferably in an amount to yield 1-15% by volume of the compound in the base metal. The dispersoid composite may be made into a gas turbine blade.
