Abstract

961,933. Distribution systems. GRANADA GROUP Ltd. Jan. 25, 1961 [Oct. 26, 1959], No. 36163/59. Heading H2E. A trunking section for an electrical distribution system has a plurality of multiple terminal blocks 8 secured therein at spaced intervals, a pair of electrical conductors 11, 12, extending along the trunking being looped into different terminals of each terminal block 8. Adjacent to one end of the section is secured a terminal block 10 into each terminal of which the ends of the conductors are connected. The other ends of the conductors 11, 12 are formed into wiring tails 13 which may be connected to further trunking sections, the tails on the final section of interconnected trunking sections being removed. Access to the terminal blocks 8 from an arrangement of lighting points or switch points as may be required is through knock-out panels 14 in the side walls 2 of the trunking, each panel being aligned with a terminal block 8.
