A glass which may be spun from a centrifuge or nozzle made of cobalt based alloys (see Division C7) comprises .SiO2.57.40% .SO3.0.30% .Fe2O3.0.35% .Al2O3.4.05% .CaO.8.60% .MgO.4.00% .Na2O.12.00% .K2O.0.50% .B2O3.4.60% .BaO.1.70% .F.2.60% .ZrO2.3.90%ALSO:A nozzle or rotatable hollow body for making fibres from molten material is made of an alloy of the following composition: .Co.47.6-70%.(partly replaceable by up ...to 15% Ni) .Cr.12-35%. .W.3-15%. .C.0.5-1.5%. .Fe.up to 1%..
