A sanitary draw sheet for beds comprises an absorbent water-permeable fibre material 1 forming the top, an absorbent pad 2 of a textile wool, a multi-ply cellulose fibre fleece or a spongy or foamed material, and a moisture impermeable bottom cover 3 which is connected to material 1 by folding its margins 4 around pad 2 and heat sealing to material.
