Abstract
949,151. Cold emission point cathodes. C.S.F. COMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FIL. Oct. 24, 1962 [Nov. 8, 1961], No. 40234/62. Heading H1D. A method of making a zirconium carbide point cathode comprises making a point shaped metal support of e.g. tungsten, molybdenum, platinum, or rhenium, and evaporating thereonto a refractory metal such as zirconium and carburizing in an organic atmosphere of benzene or naphthalene.
