Aug. 1 1961 [Aug. 12, 1960], No. 28013/60. Heading E1V. A spacing block for locating a reinforcing bar in a reinforced concrete member, is formed of rigid material of non-circular section with an open-ended slot 15 to permit the block to be positioned over the bar, the block having a resilient retaining device 16 incorporated therein and extending into the slot to grip the bar when the latter is seated in the closed end of the slot.
