934,186. Transformers. FABRIEK VAN ELECTRISCHE APPARATEN VOORHEEN F. HAZEMEIJER & CO. N.V. Jan. 18, 1960 [Feb. 25, 1959], No. 1710/60. Class 38 (2). A spool for a current transformer consists of two identical U-shaped (polythene) components each having one limb 4 tapered externally to correspond to the internal taper of the other limb 3 so that, when the two components are fitted together each with its limb 4 inside the limb 3 of the other a long creepage distance exists between the primary winding which passes through the interior of the limbs and the secondary winding which is disposed around one of the pairs of joined limbs. Mounting members passing through grooves 6 may support the transformer.
