Abstract

A fuel composition consists essentially of a gas oil having an initial boiling point not substantially higher than 250 DEG C. and a final boiling point not substantially lower than 330 DEG C. and containing at least 0,1% by weight of n-paraffins higher than C22, the said gas oil having dissolved therein 0,05 to 0,5% by weight of the composition of a fatty acid or mixture of fatty acids having 10-30 carbon atoms per molecule. Suitable acids include stearic acid, fatty acid, residual flake and wool wax fatty acid.
