922,793. Tool handles. W. R. C. McCONACHIE, and J. SIMPSON. June 30, 1960 [July 29, 1959], No. 25956/59. Class 61. The handle of a file 8 or other hand tool consists of a length of flat metal bent substantially to U-shape, the two free ends 3, 4 of the U incorporating clamp members which are formed with grooves to provide a seating for the tool and a screw connection extending between the free ends of the U-shape and adjustable to cause the clamp members positively to grip the tool. The members are clamped together by a wing nut 9 threaded on a bolt 10 passed through corresponding holes formed on each end of the handle.
