Abstract

916,661. Display cartons. SHIRLEY & WARBEY BOX CO. Ltd. June 3, 1959 [June 3, 1958], No. 17742/58. Class 18. A cardboard display box comprises a tubular shell having a cutaway front panel 2, side panels 3 and a back panel 1, and a movable bottom portion 5 integral with a back panel 6, securing panel 4 and a display panel 7 folded back into the shell and having means such as a tongue 10 to fix it in two different positions, i.e. with the bottom 5 horizontal or inclined. In the inclined position of the bottom the tongue 10 engages the upper edge 11 of the rear walls as shown. When the bottom is horizontal the tongue engages an aperture in the back wall. Foldable wings on the panel 6 may rest on the side panels 3.
