Abstract

1,260,353. Partly enclosed packages. FEDTRO Inc. 30 May, 1969 [29 Jan., 1969], No. 27531/69. Heading B8C. [Also in Division A4] A unit for displaying and carrying articles of merchandise comprises a display panel 14 having attached thereto a platform 16 on which the article is supported, the panel being provided with score lines 42 and 44 about which the panel is folded to form, with the platform 16 detachably secured to the edge 18 of the panel, a carrying case. A handle 52 which is used to carry the case is fixed to the panel. The platform is maintained at an angle of about 90 degrees to the display panel by attaching the article M to the platform at 36 and to the panel at 40. An aperture 70 may be provided in the platform to permit access to the article, e.g. for replacement of batteries and an aperture 72 through which a switch 66 on the article protrudes may be provided in the panel. The display panel when folded may form a case which is rectangular in cross-section (Figs. 4-6, not shown).
