1380047 Labels B W HANNING 6 Jan 1972 [6 Jan 1971] 675/71 Heading B8F [Also in Division G4] A label for attachment to an item of goods in a self-service store bears machine readable data 2 and human readable data 1, and has one corner truncated to ensure its correct orientation in a similarly shaped container, Fig. 2 (not shown), after it has been detached from the goods item by a customer. The labels are processed at the cashier's desk to establish the total cost and weight of items selected.
