915,059. Yarn pile grippers; Axminster looms. HILL (KIDDERMINSTER) Ltd., WILLIAM. Dec. 9, 1960, No. 42386/60. Class 142 (2). A pile yarn gripper comprises a fixed arm 10 and a pivoted arm 11, the pivoted arm 11 having a serrated portion 114 co-operating with a channelled portion 103 of the fixed arm, to grip the yarn, and being urged thereto by a spring 12. A bank of grippers may be simultaneously operated as in Specification 779,250.
