675,841. Sewing-machines. DOYEN, L., and DOYEN; L. Jan. 10, 1951 [June 15, 1950], No. 726 / 51. Class 112. The feeding of wet fabric is facilitated by a presser-foot assembly having a roller 5 engaging the fabric behind the needle 16 and a presserplate 8 engaging the fabric around the needle. The roller may have a resilient surface and is carried by a fork 3 having rearwardly directed arms 6 to the ends of which members 7 carrying the presser-plate are pivoted. The members have uprights 9 engaged by a spring 10.
