Abstract

913,078. Swaging machines. FERTIGUNGSTECHNIK UND MASCHINENBAU G.m.b.H. GES FUR. Dec. 30, 1959 [Jan. 8, 1959], No. 44194 / 59. Class 83 (4). In a swaging machine having radiallyacting hammers 4 driven by eccentric shafts 1 and guided in a disc-shaped body 5 rotatable about the workpiece axis for following the oscillating movement of the hammers, the body 5 is oscillated from by one or more of the outer ends 10 of the hammers. Drivers 7 extend radially outwardly from the body 5 and have forked outer ends 8 which engage opposite guide faces 9 on the hammer ends 10. The eccentric shafts 1 are carried in adjustable eccentric bushings 3 which are rotatable for varying the stroke positions of the hammers.
