Abstract
912,581. Powder distributers. VAN DER LELY N. V., C. Jan. 26, 1959 [Feb. 3, 1958], No. 2771/59. Class 6(1). A device for spreading powdery material is provided with agitating means of the kind comprising a member 4 angularly driven about a first axis 9 which imparts movement to agitating means which includes arms 38 which are angularly displaceable about a second axis which is spaced from the first axis characterized in that the agitating means is connected to the member with the aid of an upstanding rod 29 so that the rod can sweep around a conical or substantially conical surface whereby at least part of the agitating means performs a rocking motion. As shown the rod 29 is a loose fit in a member 27 attached to a tube 10 fitting over a boss in the member 4 which forms part of a distribution member having blades 6.
