Abstract
910,083. Manure distributers. RAUSCH, M. Nov. 23, 1959 [Nov. 22, 1958; Dec. 19, 1958; Jan. 2, 1959; March 11, 1959], No. 39608/59. Class 6(1). A manure distributer comprises a centrifugal distributer 1 which projects material on to an impact wall 2 which is provided with prongs or ribs. Material is fed from a hopper 4 by means of a rotatable member provided with downwardly directed stud members engaging an annular recess in a closure plate of the hopper. The hopper 4 is loaded by means of an elevator 15 the machine being backed up to a carriage containing the supply, an indicator 28 giving a visual indication when the rear of the machine contacts the carriage. Yielding plates are provided in the hopper for mixing the material and adjustable or flexible members are provided inside the hopper to form an empty compartment which can be released to allow expansion of the compacted material in the hopper. A device 36 is provided in the hopper to give a visual indication when the hopper is nearly empty. Track markers are provided at each side of the machine and the ends of the wall 2 may be folded for transport.
