864,810. Fertilizer distributers. STOKLAND, S. Nov. 23, 1959 [Dec. 3, 1958; Sept. 16, 1959], No. 39666/59. Class 6(1). A distributer for fertilizer and other granular material comprises a hopper 1 with an opening 2 and an annular member 10b which guides material to an upwardly convergent dome-like central portion 8 of a feeding member 4 the inner surface of which is made of a resilient or extensible material. Alternatively the feeding member is wholly made of resilient or flexible material, reinforcing means for retaining the shape being embedded therein. Material is fed by centrifugal force through adjustable openings 9 to a distributing member 24 which is rotated at a higher speed than the feeding member 4 by means of gearing.
