Abstract

1501432 Loading hoppers GENERAL DES ENGRAIS SA 3 April 1975 13791/75 Heading B8S The hopper 5 of a fertilizer distributer is loaded by means of sacks 6 containing fertilizer, each of which when needed is raised by a mast 7 to which the sack 6 is attached by means of a tie 17 and the sack is then lowered on to the top of the hopper 5 due to the engagement of the tie 17 with an auxiliary hook 18 provided on the mast 7. When the sack 6 is disposed on the top of hopper 5 its bottom is cut, either by a knife, or else by a spike 21 provided on hopper 5, so that the fertilizer can flow from the sack 6 into the hopper 5.
