Abstract

909,510. Electric motors. FARE ARMATURFABRIK A.B. Oct. 11, 1960 [Oct. 17, 1959], No. 34867/60. Class 35. [Also in Groups XXII and XXVI] A rotor assembly for a motor-driven centrifugal pump comprises a hollow shaft 31 made of bearing metal or like material and cast into or otherwise secured to a disc 12 carrying pump impeller blades 13 and a front shroud 11. A sleeve 22 formed integrally with the back shroud 21 of the impeller is slid on to the shaft 31, fol. lowed by rotor laminations 49. The parts are clamped together by a nut 50 threaded on to the end of the shaft 31. The shaft 31 is journalled on a stationary spindle 45. The stator is isolated from the pumped liquid by a sleeve 46.
