A shovel or implement-carrying yoke comprises spaced, parallel arms 14 connected by a torsion, preferably tubular, structure 20 to which are secured lugs 21 so apertured that the yoke can be connected to a vehicle chassis 10 by pivot pins 12 disposed parallel to and closely adjacent to the torsion structure 20. Swing- ing of the yoke about the pins 12 is due to an hydraulic jack 24 acting on a lever 22 secured to the torsion structure. The lever 22 may be an integral extension of one of the lugs 21.
