881,693. Vehicle brakes. SCHLEPPERWERK NORDHAUSEN VEB. July 19, 1960, No. 25119/60. Class 103 (1). Two brake pedals are arranged side by side for braking a wheel at the corresponding side of e.g. a tractor, one pedal having a plate-like head 3 hinged to the pedal shank 1 in such manner that the head 3 is turnable through approximately 180 degrees to overlie the other pedal head 9, thus enabling simultaneous operation of both brake pedals. An abutment 4 is fixed to the pedal head 3 and an optional abutment 5 to the pedal shank 1, while a spring 7 capable of acting in an overcentre capacity is anchored to the head 3 at 6 and to the shank 1 at 8.
