907,468. Bending sheet material. ROLLSROYCE Ltd. March 14, 1961 [March 21, 1960], No. 9919/60. Class 83 (4). The drive between two roll carrying shafts of a rolling machine for shaping sheet material is transmitted by a gear train which allows changes in the spacing of the shafts while still retaining their parallelism. The drive is transmitted from a shaft 11, through gears 21, 26, 28 and 27, to a shaft 14, the gear 21 being attached to shaft, idler gears 26 and 28 to a bell crank lever 22, 23, and the gear 27 to the shaft 14. A handle 18 is rotated to alter the spacing of the shafts.
