903,955. Apparatus for attemperating liquids. DESSINDECOR Ltd. April 4, 1961 [Jan. 1, 1960], No. 59/60. Classes 29 and 64 (3). Draught liquid passing through or held in a container assembly 11, 13, is maintained within a predetermined temperature range by a thermally-sensitive element 22 which acts according to the liquid temperature either to switch on an electric heater (not shown) to heat the liquid, or, to chill the liquid by controlling the operation of a refrigerator, the evaporator coil 16 of which is disposed around the outer container 11. The attemperated liquid enters the inner container through a duct 21 and leaves the outer container through a duct 15, the two containers being interconnected through ports or slots 14 in the inner container. A helical baffle 33 may be disposed in the annular space between the two containers. The apparatus may, as shown, be contained in a heat-insulating casing.
