Classes 29 and 64(3) A thermally insulated tank comprises an inner wall 1 of metal and an outer wall 2 of a synthetic resin material. An intermediate wall 3 of a synthetic resin material divides the chamber between the inner and outer walls into a part 4 containing a heat insulating material and an inner chamber in which is disposed a heating or chilling coil 10 immersed in water. The synthetic resin material may be reinforced by fibre glass. A non-return valve may be provided to enable the space between walls 2 and 3 to be evacuated. Specification 800,944 is referred to.
