Abstract

893,282. Automatic circuit - breakers. SQUARE D. CO. Oct. 2, 1958 [June 24, 1958], No. 31479/58. Class 38 (5). The manually-operable automatic circuitbreaker disclosed in Specification 788,044, and having a bimetal strip latch and a magnetic trip is modified by providing a further connector in series with the bimetal in order to increase the ampere turns of the magnetic circuit. The bimetal 34 has connector 45 arranged around the magnetic yoke 44 carrying the armature 53. Specification 827,740 also is referred to.
