1517307 Automatic circuit breakers; electromagnetic switches SIEMENS AG 28 Oct 1975 [20 Nov 1974] 44465/75 Heading H1N An automatic circuit-breaker has an electromagnetic trip device including a main armature 1 and second armature 8 biased by respective springs 12, 9 and is so arranged that on low persistant overloads the armature 8 moves first, before the magnetic force is sufficient to attract the armature 1 which is moved immediately on high overload; the armature 1 being arranged to move so that it first tips a latch 2 of the circuit breaker and then moves a contact 3.
