1,008,874. Automatic circuit breakers. MIDLAND ELECTRIC MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. April 9, 1963 [April 10, 1962], No. 13717/ 62. Heading H2B. A circuit breaker has a spring biased contact carrying arm 6 normally pivotable on a part 9a of a latch 9 by a cam 8 to open or close the contacts, the latcb 9 being pivotable to release the arm 6 and thus open the contacts upon overload by bimetal trip 11 or by an electromagnetic trip consisting of a fixed core 15 and an armature 16 loosely mounted in the breaker housing.
