892,948. Generating combustion products under pressure. LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd., JOSEPH. Jan. 5, 1961 [Oct. 12, 1959], No. 34462/59. Class 51 (1). An air jacketed flame tube for gas turbines connected at one end to a hollow nosepiece mounted within the jacket, has at the edge of the nosepiece a channel receiving the adjacent edge of the flame tube wall, the channel having in one of its walls or in parts secured thereto, spaced recesses having enlarged openings at their inner ends which receive pins extending from the flame tube wall, and stepped locating members engaged axially upon the pins when located in the enlarged openings. Pins 16 are introduced into recesses 15 by endwise movement of the flame tube 6. Stepped bushes 17 are retained in position on the pins 16 by cotterpins 18 and washers.
