Abstract

1,000,231. Gas burners. HOTWORK Ltd. May 29, 1964 [May 29, 1963], No. 21511/63. Heading F4T. A gas burner comprises two concentric tubes 18, 19 mounted in a tubular casing 10 supplied with air by a fan, the annular space between the tubes 18, 19 being supplied with combustible gas by a main conduit 25 and a pilot conduit (not shown). The tubes 18, 19 are mounted on a partition 17 having a central aperture 23 for air and a circular series of orifices 24 also for air. The tubes 18, 19 have inwardly or outwardly projecting flanges 21, 22 at their forward ends. A retractable oil burner 29 extends through the central aperture 23 and comprises an inner oil conduit 31 and a surrounding air conduit 33. A sparking plug is mounted on the partition 17 between the tubes 18, 19.
