Abstract

876,222. Gas burners. FIRNER, W. B. Dec. 10, 1957 [Dec. 10, 1956], No. 38410/57. Class 75(1). A gas burner comprises a cylindrical chamber 7 having a row of gas discharge ports 9 and a Venturi mixing tube 2 extending in gas tight manner into the chamber 7 to a point at least as far as the row of ports 9. Another burner has three rows of discharge apertures and the Venturi tube extends to the furthermost row. The ports 9 are shielded from spilled liquid by a lip 10 on the end wall 1 of the burner.
