892,207. Ventilators. ERCOLE MARELLI & C. S.p.A., and BREVETTI FAGIOLI SOC. R. L. March 2, 1960 [March 2, 1959], No. 7466/60. Class 137 A ventilator comprises a fan 2 supported by an arm 1 and a conical casing 5 having a longitudinally extending discharge aperture 6 and being mounted to rotate about the fan axis to distribute air in all directions. The casing is driven from the fan driving shaft 7 through a reduction gear 9 which includes an arm extending therefrom and having a friction driving roller which engages on the rim 17 of the casing. Vanes 6a guide the air through the slot 6.
