Abstract

739,794. Windows. SPEICH, C. July 13, 1954, No. 20428/54. Class 20 (3). An anti-misting centrifugal screen comprises a fixed transparent plate 2, an electric motor 1 mounted in an aperture in the plate, and a transparent disc 5 carried by the motor shaft outwardly of the plate 2. The disc 5 carries a rim 8 forming with a ring 9 on the outside of the plate 2 a tortuous passage leading into the space S. An electric heater 22 may be positioned in this space and vanes within this space are formed on the bell-like member 4 by which, in conjunction with a flange 204 and cap 6, the disc 5 is secured to the motor shaft.
