440,893. Spinning-pots. ODAJIMA, S., 757, Oaza Toba, Toba-machi, Shima-gun, Miye-prefecture, Japan. July 10, 1934, No. 20269. Convention date, July 16, 1933. [Class 120 (ii)] [See also Group II] The spinning centrifuge 1 is driven by the motor 7 and its enclosing casing 2 rests on the motor casing. The casing 2 is provided with a lid 3 and onlypermits a small volume of air to be disturbed by the centrifuge. To diminish vibration in the lid and casing, a ring 5 of selected weight is arranged on the lid in the guard 4 so that it can move freely. Some elastic material may be inserted beneath the ring, and some may be placed between the rim of the casing 2 and the lid 3.
