443,832. Centrifugal machines. SIEMENS - SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT. - GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Nov. 18, 1935, No. 31892. Convention date, Dec. 6, 1934. [Class 23] A centrifugal hydro-extractor has its drum 14 and driving motor 16 with their associated parts flexibly supported in the casing 11. A spring 18 concentric with, and surrounding, the drum shaft is anchored to the casing partition 13 and its lower end is secured to a plate 19 fixed to the bearing casing 17. The upper end of the bearing casing may be laterally supported by radial springs, or by leaf spring 20 of volute form. Where the driving motor is at the side of the drum shaft a suitable counterweight for the motor is attached beneath the plate 19.
